Even light
Shadows, a desk lamp and yellowed paper become clean black on white.
Stela restores bad scans and photos, reads every line, stamp and handwritten note twice, and delivers the translation in the exact layout of the original. You check, you sign.
One calm workspace. Every step happens in front of you, and every step can be checked and adjusted.
A system of reading engines from document examination visually restores every page, so the hardest parts of a document are recognised with far higher precision, handwriting included.
Low-quality scanRestored by Stela
Stela recognises the kind of document, the language pair and every name, and transliterates the names for you to check against the passport.

Each line is read by two independent engines and compared letter by letter. Where they differ, Stela never guesses: it marks the exact words on the original and shows both readings.

The translation is written page by page into the structure of the original, following the certification rules of the country where it will be used.

What you see is the file: real A4 pages with header, page numbers and your certification. Export to Word or PDF, then sign and stamp.

Built on techniques from forensic document examination, running in real time while you work.
Shadows, a desk lamp and yellowed paper become clean black on white.
Each ink is found and can be set aside, so writing under a stamp stays readable.
Contrast raised area by area, exactly where the page needs it.
An adaptive engine pulls out pale ink and pencil that is barely there.
Raking light reveals embossed seals, security marks and pressed writing.
Numbers, dates and document series read again at full resolution.
An 8-page document goes from upload to finished translation in about three minutes, with the same precision on page eight as on page one.

Stela is used and tested by several sworn translators on real documents, with excellent results, above all in following the current standards, rules and decrees of each country.
Every release is used on real assignments by sworn translators; their corrections shape the next one.
Every change is measured against translations finished by sworn translators: reading, wording, structure and certification.
Certification wording and formatting follow the current rules of the country where the translation is used.
Tables, fields, stamps, signatures and page numbers as in the original, with every detail correctly described.
Passports, birth certificates and diplomas hold personal data. Stela handles them confidentially at every step, behind several layers of protection, so they are never left unprotected.
Our own secure method for sending documents to our system. A strong, protected system layer that keeps clients' personal data safe while their documents are still read with the full power of our system.
All your projects, translations and their history in one place, with a trash you can restore from.
Every request is checked against your account. No other user can ever see your documents.
Stela does not use your documents or anyone's personal data to train its system.
Passwords stored only as strong hashes, sign-in throttling, secure sessions, a server behind a closed gateway.
Each document is processed live and on its own: no memory of other jobs, no reuse, no shared results.
Documents are processed only to produce your translation. Never published, shared or sold.
Every project keeps its documents, its translations and its history. Search, filter, reopen, continue. Only you can see it.
